"Final Broadcast" is a point-and-click narrative-driven game set during the final broadcast before an inescapable catastrophe—a meteor hurtling toward Earth. As the DJ of the last radio station still on air, you’re tasked with delivering music, soundscapes, and advice to listeners seeking comfort, hope, or hard truths. Your choices shape the final moments of your listeners’ lives and will define your last monologue before the inevitable impact. With the world’s fate sealed, how will you spend your final broadcast?

Getting the Different DJ Final Monologues

Click me to show how Silent Endings - Skip all the songs
Reflective Endings - Broadcast every time and contemplate
Empathetic Endings - Choose first option every time
Practical Endings - Choose second option every time
Honest Endings - Choose third option every time

You also get a different monologues if, for example, you: choose first option AND skip all songs.</p>

(September 2024) Developer's note: I am taking into account that my writing for the DJ responses isn't as obvious as I hope it would be. This is something I will be working on when I update the game.

WOW, I loved this game. It was so emotional, and I feel like it captured the essence of humanity excellently. Also, the music was amazing! I wish I knew I could only choose four songs, so I could save my favorite for the end, but I liked that uncertainty, it felt more realistic. It gives you a chance to play how you view it, do you play the best song first so you know you get to hear it, or do you try to wait to the end, so it's the last thing you hear? Great game!

Hey! Thank you for your comment. This really means a lot :)

If given the opportunity, I’m hoping to feature indie songs through this game so there will be more options for the players. This was the fruit of a two-week game jam so it’s not very polished.

Comments like yours remind me that I should take on developing this game into what I initially envisioned it to be.
